Programme
Day 1: After arriving in Glasgow, you will get to know some interesting places there. In the crypt of the old Cathedral the preacher of the Celtic Christianity, the founder of the city – Kentigen lies. The bridges of the river Clyde seem very familiar as the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd) in Budapest was also designed by a Scottish achitect. After that you wil occupy the accomodation in Edinburgh.
Day 2: Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, the most beautiful city in Britain. You will have a chance to see the sights on foot: Royal Fortress, Holyrood Palace, Royal Yaht, St. Giles Cathedral and Princess Street. Accomodation will be in Edinburgh.
Day 3: You will get acquainted with Scotland. After breakfast you are going to leave for the Highlands. You will have the first stop at the biggest lake of the country, Loch Lomond. After the mysterious Black Mountain, you can see the most enchanting valley of Scotland: Glencoe Valley, which proves that you are in the most wonderful country in Europe. You will visit the ancient castle of Inverary, which is the citadel of the biggest Scottish clan of Cambell, where the story of Rob Roy took place.. After that you are invited to a boat trip, where you can get acquianted with operation of a salmon premises and members of a seal colony can be seen. You will have accomodation nearby Fort William.
Day 4: You will trail of the Highlander and the Loch Ness Monster. After breakfast you will visit a whisky „factory”, a real distillery, where you can taste the national Scottish drink and get to know its production. You will pass Ben Nevis, the highest mountain, the fabulous Glen Shiel valley, 5 Sisters Mountain range . Then you will travel to a small island in the lake Elian Donan csatle, which can be found on the cover of every tourist brochure. It is no wonder that the film Highlander was shot there. The fame of Loch Ness is indisputable. You will try to search the „monster” too. Clara Cairns is famous for its prehistoric cultural things. The huge stone circles were the witnesses of miracles and rituals of Druids. The accomodation will be in Inverness.
Day 5: The real Scotland. After breakfast you will keep travelling. You will take part in a fantastic performance done by once seen in a BBC programme called Shepherd’s sheepdogs. The fabulous snow-white Blaire castle is undoubtedly the most visited listed building in Scotland. Even Quenn Victoria spent a long time in it. It has luxurious interior and exceptional park too. After the castles, the last but the most magnificent one the Glamis Castle will be visited, which used to be the residence of the Grandmother Queen. Princess Margareth was born here and Queen Elizabeth II used to spend her childhood in it, who reigns at present. It is also the photographers’ favourite place. You will have accomodation in Dundee or nearby.
Day 6: In the rail of Church Knights and William Wallace. St. Andrew is the most attractive city of the eastern coast due to its relics. Today it is the most significant centre of golf, even the rules of the game come from this place. Dunfermline Abbey was founded by St. Margareth who was from Hungary. Robert Bruce, the legendary king was buried here.
You can get to know some information about the history of Order of Knighthood. Our last destination is the fortress of Stirling, where William Wallace the Braveheart fought. After visiting the fortress you will go to the airport to leave for Budapest.

Glasgow a nagyváros: Menetrend szerinti érkezés után GLASGOW érdekességeivel ismerkedünk. A Katedrális ódon kriptájában nyugszik a kelta kereszténység prédikátora, a városalapító Kentigen. Ismerősnek tűnnek a Clyde folyó hídjai, hiszen a Lánchidat is skót építész tervezte. Szállás elfoglalása Edinburghban.

A skót főváros Edinburgh Britannia legszebb városa. Gyalogos városnézés: KIRÁLYI VÁR, HOLYROOD PALOTA, KIRÁLYI YACHT, ST. GILES KATEDRÁLIS, PRINCESS STR. Szállás Edinburghban
3. nap
Ismerkedés Skóciával: Reggeli után indulás autóbusszal a skót Felföldre. Első megálló a szigetország legnagyobb tava LOCH LOMOND. A misztikus Fekete-hegy után Skócia legvarázslatosabb völgye, a Glencoe-völgy következik, amely bebizonyítja, hogy Európa legszebb országában járunk. INVERARAY ősi kastélyával ismerkedünk, a legnagyobb skót klán a Cambellek fellegvárával, ahol Rob Roy története is elhangzik. Ezután egy hajókirándulásra invitáljuk Önöket, ahol egy lazactelep működésével ismerkedhetünk meg, és egy fókakolónia tagjait is megtekinthetjük. Szállás FORT WILLIAM környékén.
4. nap
A hegylakó és a Loch Ness-i szörny nyomába eredünk: Reggeli után egy whisky üzem látogatása a program, ahol megkóstolhatjuk a skót nemzeti italt és készítésével is megismerkedhetünk. A legmagasabb hegycsúcs a Ben Nevis után, a káprázatos GLEN SHIEL-völgyben, az Öt nővér nevű hegyvonulat szegélyezi utunkat. Továbbutazás a tóban aprócska szigetén található ELIAN DONAN KASTÉLYHOZ, ami minden idegenforgalmi kiadvány címlapját uralja. Nem csoda, hogy itt forgatták a Hegylakó c. filmet. (HIGHLANDER). LOCH NESS hírneve magáért beszél még, a „ szörnyet" is megpróbáljuk felkutatni. CLAVA CAIRNS a történelem előtti kultúrák emléke. A hatalmas kőkörök voltak tanúi a druidák varázslatainak és rituáléinak. Szállás Invernessben.
5. nap
Az igazi Skócia: Reggeli után továbbutazás, részvétel egy BBC műsorában szerepelt birkapásztor juhászkutyáinak fantasztikus bemutatóján. A hófehér, mesebeli BLAIRE KASTÉLY nem véletlenül Skócia leglátogatottabb műemléke, még Viktória királynő is hosszasan időzött benne. Pazar belseje után kivételes a parkja is. Kastélyok után az utolsó de egyben a legfenségesebb a GLAMIS KASTÉLY, a királyi nagyi lakhelye volt. Itt született Margit hercegnő és itt töltötte gyermekkorát a jelenlegi uralkodó II. Erzsébet. Fotósok kedvenc csemegéje. Szállás Dundee-ban vagy környékén.
6. nap
Templomos lovagok és a Rettenthetetlen nyomában: A keleti part legvonzóbb városa ST. ANDREW. Létét Szent András ereklyéinek köszönheti, ma a golf legjelentősebb központja, még a sportág szabályai is innen származnak. DUNFERMLINE Apátságot Szent Margit alapította (aki Magyarországról származott). Itt nyugszik a legendás király Robert Bruce. Itt ismerkedhetünk meg a templomos lovagrend történetével. Utolsó állomásunk STIRLING VÁRA, William Wallance a Rettenthetetlen itt harcolt. A vár megtekintése után a repülőtérre megyünk, indulás haza.
KUTSAL KASE’NİN PEŞİNDEN
1. Gün
Tarifeli sefer ile GLASGOW’a geldikten sonra, bu büyük şehrin ziyaretçilerine sunduğu ilginç yerleri keşfedeceğiz. Bu şehrin kurucusu olarak bilinen ve Kelt Hıristiyanlığın vaizlerinden biri olan Kentingen, bu şehrin eski kriptinde yatmaktadır. Clyde Nehri’nin köprüleri tanıdık gelebilir, çünkü Budapeşte’nin Zincirli Köprüsü de bir İskoç mimarı tarafından tasarlanmıştı.

2. Gün
İskoç başkenti olan Edinburgh Britanya’nın en güzel şehridir. Yürüyerek yapılan gezinti: KRALİYET KALESİ, HOLYROOD SARAYI, KRALİYET YAT, ST.GİLES KATEDRALİ, PRİNCESS CADDESİ.

3. Gün
İskoçya’yı tanıma fırsatı: Kahvaltıdan sonra otobüs ile İskoç Yaylalarına hareket. İlk mola ada ülkesinin en büyük gölü olan LOCH LOMOND. Esrarlı Siyah Dağ ve İskoçya’nın en büyüleyici Glencoe Vadisi, Avrupa’nın en güzel ülkesinde olduğumuzu ispat edecek. Çok eski İNVERARAY KALESİ’ni göreceğiz. Bu kale, en büyük İskoç klanı olarak nitelendirilen Cambell Klanı’nın merkezidir. Rob Roy’un hikayesi de burada geçiyormuş. Bundan sonra sizi bir vapur gezintisine davet edeceğiz. Burada bir som balığı çiftliğini ve bir fok kolonisini de ziyaret edeceğiz.

4. Gün
“Highlander” ve Loch Ness Canavarı’nın peşinden gideceğiz: Kahvaltıdan sonra bir viski fabrikasını ziyaret edeceğiz. İskoçya’nın milli içkisinin tadına bakabiliriz ve nasıl yapıldığını da öğrenebiliriz. İskoçya’nın en yüksek dağı olan Ben Nevis’i gördükten sonra muhteşem GLEN SHİEL vadisinde, Beş Kız Kardeş Dağları arasında yolumuza devam edeceğiz. Her tanıtım broşüründe gösterilen bir gölün adasında yer alan ELİAN DONAN KALESİ’ni gezeceğiz. HIGHLANDER filmi de burada çekilmiş. LOCH NESS’in şöhreti şaşırılacak bir şey değil. “Canavarı” bile bulmaya çalışacağız.
CLAVA CAİRNS tarih öncesine ait kültürlerin anısı. Bu çok büyük taş çemberleri druidlerin büyüleri ve dini törenlerinin şahitleridir.

5. Gün
Gerçek İskoçya: Kahvaltıdan sonra yolumuza devam edeceğiz. Bir BBC programında da oynayan çoban köpeklerin fantastik bir sunumuna katılacağız. Bembeyaz, masalsı BLAİRE KALESİ’nin, İskoçya’nın en çok gezilen anıtı olması hiç tesadüf değildir. Burada Kraliçe Victoria da uzun zaman geçirmişti. Hem kalenin içi çok güzel hem de görkemli bir parkı var. Kalelerin bu sırasında en muhteşem kale GLAMİS KALESİdir. Kraliyet ailesinin anneannesi de burada oturuyordu. Prenses Margaret bu kalede doğdu, şimdiki Kraliçe II Elizabeth ise çocukluğunu burada geçirdi. Fotoğrafçıların çok sevdiği bir yerdir.

6. Gün
Haçlı şövalyelerin ve Cesur Yürek’in peşinden:
Batı kıyısının en cazibeli şehri ST.ANDREW. Şehir, varlığını Aziz Andrew’dan kalan kutsallara borçludur. Şehir bugün golfun en önemli merkezidir, sporun kuralları da buradan geliyor.
DUNFERMLİNE manastırının kurucusu Macar asıllı Aziz Margaret. Efsanevi kral Robert Bruce burada yatıyor. Haçlı şövalyelik tarikatının hikayesini de öğrenebiliriz. Son mola STİRLİNG KALESİ, William Wallance (CESUR YÜREK) burada savaşmıştı. Kaleyi gezdikten sonra havalimanına gidip eve döneceğiz.
